  • Apply the 2020 Scrum Guide and recognise where real teams legitimately depart from it
  • Calculate WIP, throughput, cycle time and work item age from a table of dated items
  • Score a delivery scenario on five criteria and defend a predictive, adaptive or hybrid plan
  • Write a risk register entry with a probability×impact score, owner and response strategy
  • Verify AI-produced figures against the tracker and check a tool's data terms before pasting client data

  • Scrum (2020 Guide)
  • Kanban flow metrics
  • Roadmap prioritisation
  • Hybrid delivery planning
  • Risk register
  • Acceptance criteria

Internship agreement

With this course, an intern could support a delivery, product or PMO team by keeping Jira boards and Confluence decision logs up to date, drafting status reports, and calculating flow metrics for a team that works without sprints. Other suitable tasks include maintaining a risk register with named owners, mapping dependencies between teams in different locations, and helping prepare roadmap or budget material for stakeholder reviews.

The internship can run at the same time as the course, within the 180 days of access.

Frequently asked questions

What job does Agile and Digital Project Management prepare me for, and does it make me a certified Scrum Master?

Agile and Digital Project Management prepares you for entry-level delivery, project or product coordination work in tech teams, and explains how those roles differ. It does not award the PSM I certification. PSM I is a separate exam from Scrum.org with its own fee per attempt, sat in English with no experience prerequisite. Module 4's close reading of the 2020 Scrum Guide doubles as preparation for it.

Which tools, frameworks and rules does the course actually cover?

The course covers the November 2020 Scrum Guide, the Kanban Guide's four flow metrics, and the 2025 DORA report with its move to five metrics. On tools, it covers Jira (unified since 2024), Confluence, Figma, Notion and Linear, and why Microsoft Project has faded from this market. It also covers the EU AI Act, including which duties apply now and which are deferred.

What could I realistically do during the internship with this course, and who arranges it?

You find the host company yourself. The school then issues the internship agreement and its annex, which the company signs electronically, usually within one or two working days. Suitable tasks include updating Jira and Confluence, drafting client status reports, computing WIP and cycle time for a support team, keeping a risk register with owners, and preparing roadmap or budget inputs.

Do I need to know specific software or AI tools to get into project delivery?

Not necessarily. Almost no job advertisement in this role family names a specific AI product, and tool stacks vary by market. Figma, for example, appears in EU product scale-ups but rarely in classic project administration roles. What matters more is knowing what each tool is for, checking AI output against the real tracker, and knowing whose data terms apply.
